Hollywood & CoolSculpting: What Celebrities Have Frozen Their Fat?
Many people have celebrity crushes or admire celebrities for their beauty, confidence, and talent. Many of our patients have come into us with a picture of a particular famous person in mind when they come in for weight loss and CoolSculpting. There is no doubt they motivate us to look our best and give us inspiration. It helps to know what procedures these celebrities have gone through to achieve these results, so it’s only fair that you wonder what celebrities have had CoolSculpting.
What is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is a non-invasive and non-surgical fat reduction procedure. It uses the new technology Cryolipolysis, which is the freezing of fat cells by using a controlled cooling. As the fat cells are frozen, they start to die away from the cold. Over the following weeks after your treatment, the fat cells are removed from the body via your natural waste process. They exit the body and are gone for good. This means the fat cells will not return or “show up” somewhere else on the body.
CoolSculpting can treat a variety of different areas where you may be experience a lot of fat that decides to hide, regardless of the diets or exercise you perform. You can treat the buttocks, arms, knees, inner and outer thighs, back, abdomen, love handles, and more!
How is CoolSculpting Performed?
Before your CoolSculpting procedure, you will meet with the doctor at SculptMD and go over what your goals are for your body. You will talk about the places you are looking to treat, and your doctor will create a specific treatment plan tailored to your needs.
During your appointment, a protective gel will be applied before the applicator to protect your skin from nerve and skin damage. Because of the gel, CoolSculpting is a completely safe and reliable treatment. The cooling is a perfect temperature and controlled through an applicator and vacuum that sucks in the target area to ensure the best results. It can last anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes depending on the size of the area and the other areas being treated.
At SculptMD, on top of your traditional CoolSculpting procedure, we add an additional procedure to enhance the results of CoolSculpting. As your cells die away, sometimes they need encouragement if they’re on the edges of dying over. Zimmer ZWave is used to treat cellulite through breaking up clumps of fibrous tissues. Through this same sound wave technology, it can help the cell death rate and encourage the death of cells that may have not died without it. Patients report seeing up to a 50% enhancement in their results with the ZWave.
What Celebrities Have Had CoolSculpting?
Like other cosmetic and body enhancing procedures on the market, many celebrities have dabbled with CoolSculpting and enjoyed the results so much they plan to continue. While some celebrities prefer to remain private about their procedures or surgeries, others have talked about their experience with CoolSculpting and how much they love it.
Molly Sims is an American model and actress, most noted for her appearance in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and also plays Delinda Deline on NBC’s Las Vegas. She had an interview with Vanity Fair where she revealed that she had leftover abdominal fat after her pregnancies, which she turned to CoolSculpting to help get rid of it. She says it’s “perfect for busy moms” and “plans on it again”.
Believe it or not, the iconic and notable Jennifer Anniston uses CoolSculpting to help keep her sculpted body. The famous actress revealed to InStyle that she’s a fan of lasers and non-invasive treatments. She used CoolSculpting to improve some of her troubled areas where stubborn fat would just hang out.
One of the Kardashian’s uses CoolSculpting alongside her dieting and exercising. Khloe slimmed and toned her body with the combination of diet, exercise and CoolSculpting. She told New Beauty magazine that she had CoolSculpting and other treatments for the stretch marks on her bottom. There is also a rumor that her sister, Kim, also uses CoolSculpting.
Childhood star and former controversial actress expressed her experience with CoolSculpting on a video on Youtube. After CoolSculpting, she’s expressed a “love of all things cryo” (referring to cryolipolysis – the scientific name behind CoolSculpting). We have no doubt she’ll be a fan forever as it only improves.
Mariah Carey is known for keeping her fitness and diet life private, but there is no doubt in recent years she’s showed up suddenly thinner and sculpted. A source told Radar that she has used CoolSculpting in the past to tackle the hard to lose fatty areas, allowing her to dominate the hourglass shape.
What are CoolSculpting Results?
The amount of treatments you will need for your procedure will just depend on your goals, the area size, and the amount of areas you are trying to treat. You will start to see results at about 3 weeks, but the most dramatic results will be seen at about 2 months from the initial treatment. You can even see your results up to 4 to 6 months after your treatment.
The results from your CoolSculpting treatment will be dependent on you. Communication is important. At SculptMD, we want you to reach your goals just as much as you! We want to see you satisfied and confident in your skin. Once you’ve completed treatments and have achieved your results, how long they last will be up to you.
Many find their CoolSculpting treatment to be a motivational factor to eat healthier and maintain an exercise regimen. As long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle, your CoolSculpting results will last. Some find it helpful to have routine treatments once every so many months just to maintain their body.
